Abstract
An aqueous solution for cleaning and disinfecting a contact lens comprising 0.5 ppm to 5 ppm of 1,1'-hexamethylene-bis[5-(2-ethylhexyl)biguanide; 0.5 ppm to 3 ppm .alpha.-[4-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-ammonium chloride-2-butenyl]poly[1-dimethyl ammonium chloride-2-butenyl]-.omega.-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium chloride; 0.005 wt. % to 0.04 wt. % hyaluronic acid; a boric acid/borate buffer; and a nonionic surfactant selected from poloxamer, poloxamine or any combination thereof.
