The invention concerns a method for recording and reestablishing a multimedia content including the following steps: transmission of a multimedia content to a mobile terminal (107) is interrupted at a given time, a terminal (107, 108, 109) transmits to a server (110) a request for reestablishment of the content, the server (110) transmits in return to the terminal (107, 108, 109) the multimedia content based on the time of interruption of the transmission of the content.
