Abstract
A service generation system in a communications network and a method for responding to a service request are provided. The system includes a processor (10, 100) configured to receive the service request, generate a service from a plurality of service capabilities and return the service. An analysis module (18, 110) is configured to identify the service capabilities for service creation based on the service request. A management module (20, 112) is configured to determine an invocation sequence for the service capabilities identified for service creation. One or more invocation modules (22, 106) are configured to invoke the service capabilities after determination of the invocation sequence.
