Abstract
The invention relates to a device for cutting out and removing cylinders of tissue from a tissue, which is located inside a body or joint cavity and/or in or on a wall region thereof, comprising a cutting device (12) with a hollow-cylindrical base body (14), a distal opening (18) on a distal end (16) of the base body (14), and a cutting element (20) surrounding the distal opening (18), further an actuating device (22) for rotating the base body (14) about the longitudinal axis (24) thereof on a proximal end (26), and/or on a region (28) facing the proximal end (26), of the base body (14), and a sealing device (30) for closing and opening a proximal opening (32) on the proximal end (26) of the body (14), and the use thereof.
