Abstract
A non-apertured media embossing template (24) is formed from a non-apertured die (20). Media embossing template (24) has a raised perimeter (32) and a recessed embosser (34). The raised perimeter (32) is a two-dimensional embossing perimeter integrally formed with a face of non-apertured die (20). Raised perimeter (32) can be used to emboss and/or cut a media (26), based upon the amount of force (28) applied to press media (26) onto non-apertured die (20). Recessed embosser (34) has an embossing pattern that can be used to further emboss media (26), providing either a uniform pattern for embossment on media (26), or further detail associated with raised perimeter (32).
