Method and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for SRVCC emergency call support. The method may include receiving, at a mobility switching center, a first message representing a request to handover an emergency communication session from a first network to a second network. The mobile switching center may obtain a value representing an emergency session transfer number. The mobility switching center may also send a second message to the first network. The second message may initiate handover of the emergency communication session from the first network to the second network.
