Provided are methods for improving the appearance aging or of peri-menopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal skin comprising: applying to the skin tissue of a mammal in need of such regulation, a safe and effective amount of a composition comprising at least one Szeto-Schiller peptide and a dermatologically acceptable carrier.
