Abstract

Protection device (1, 100, 110, 1110) for protection of a user, said protection device (1, 100, 110, 1110) comprising an inflatable member (2; 200, 102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602; 205, 210, 211, 212) including a first wall (7, 115) and a second wall (8) fixed together along respective perimetral edges (23, 24, 120). The inflatable member (2; 200, 102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602; 205, 210, 211, 212) also includes a textile structure (5) including a first mesh (10), a second mesh (11) and a plurality of tie members (12), said first mesh (10) being situated opposite the second mesh (11) and the tie members (12) having opposite ends (12a, 12b) fixed respectively to said first mesh (10) and to said second mesh (11). The first mesh (10) lines internally at least partly said first wall (7, 115) and said second mesh (11) lines internally at least partly said second wall (8, 116). The protection device (1, 100, 110, 1110) includes at least one seam (3, 300) which connects a surface portion of said first mesh (10) to a surface portion of said second mesh (11), said at least one seam (3, 300) being arranged along a folding zone (P, P') of said inflatable member (2; 200, 102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602; 205, 210, 211, 212).
