Abstract
An endotracheal tube for intubation within a patient's trachea. The endotracheal tube includes an elongated tube having a main lumen, an auxiliary lumen, a proximal end, and a distal end. An inflatable cuff is arranged on the elongated tube between the proximal and distal ends. A multi-mode valve is arranged on the elongated tube. A method for tracheal intubation of a patient is also disclosed.
