Abstract

A protein mixture of meat extract and collagen from bovine muscle takes the form of a soluble powder composed of macronutrients such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins, micronutrients such as calcium, iron and sodium, and saturated fat. It is therefore a balanced formulation that preserves all essential amino acids, represents a source of iron and calcium and exhibits a low sodium and saturated fat content.
