Abstract
A method for inactivating an orthomyxovirus propagated in cell culture and/or inactivating contaminating adventitious agents, comprising at least the following steps:
- (a) treating an orthomyxovirus-containing fluid with an alkykating agent, and(b) irradiating the orthomyxovirus-containing fluid with UV light.
