Abstract
Systems and methods for conducting a transaction are provided. In one illustrative embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a mobile communication device, a symbol command message. The symbol command message includes a symbol command. The method may also include comparing at least a portion of the symbol command message to a plurality of symbol commands in a symbol command directory, and initiating distribution of at least one of a good or service associated with the symbol command in the symbol command message.
