A dashboard widget is provided, wherein the dashboard widget comprises a plurality of modes of managing shopping items. At least one of the plurality of modes is activated, wherein the modes are configured to manage at least one of the shopping items. Thee processing of at least one of the shopping items is managed. Notification is provided related to at least one of the items as it relates to at least one of the plurality of modes. Based on the notification, the moving the shopping items between the plurality of modes is managed.
