Abstract
A strapping system for a dance shoe includes at least one elongated strap having first and second ends connected with the shoe upper at opposite sides thereof. At least one strap end is removably connected with the upper via a fastening assembly including a fastener. A plurality of connectors is provided in longitudinally spaced relation on the upper so that the strap fastener may be connected with a selected connector to adjust the strap and comfortably retain the shoe on the foot of the wearer.
