In particular, the present invention relates to a system and a method for conducting an advertisement auction considering popularity ranking of contents, specific contents, profile of users. The present invention enables a contents provider to use the characteristics of on-line contents to conduct the advertisement auction, thereby maximizing the economic profits, and building a foundation for maintaining a business that provides contents for free or at cost.
