The system of the present disclosure may be applied to natural and/or pre-existing artificial nail coatings. The present disclosure relates generally to compositions for natural and artificial nail coatings, and particularly, but not by way of limitation, to polymerizable compositions and color layers polymerized therefrom. The disclosure further relates to methods of making a polymerized color layer.
