A sulphur cement pre-composition, comprising sulphur and an organosilane coupling agent of formula (I); wherein R1, R2 and R3 are independently chosen from alkoxy, acyloxy, acyloxy, alkyl, aryl and halogen, wherein R4 is alkyl, wherein n is from 1 to 8, wherein R5 is alkyl, alkenyl or aralkyl and wherein p is an integer of at least 1, and wherein the weight ratio of sulphur to organosilane coupling agent is at least 1.
