Abstract
The present invention concerns an aqueous binder for a fiber mat, in particular mineral fibers, which comprises, in parts by weight:
- 50 to 95 parts of at least one lignosulfonic acid salt;5 to 50 parts of at least one thermosetting resin selected from phenolic resins and urea-formaldehyde resins; and5 to 20 parts of a curing catalyst selected from compounds containing phosphorus and sulfates per 100 parts of lignosulfonic acid salt and of thermosetting resin.
