Abstract

A barium titanate semiconductor ceramic with positive resistance-temperature characteristics, which is represented by the general formula: BaTiO₃, wherein a Ti site is partially substituted with Zr, and a content ratio of Zr falls within the range of 0.14 to 0.88 mol %, and a PTC thermistor using the same.
