Abstract

For a person who has a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (“PEG”) tube and an esophagus stoma, an ostomy pouch is provided, where the pouch forms an inlet connected to the esophagus stoma and an outlet connected to one end of a interconnecting tube. An opposing end of the interconnecting tube is connected to the PEG tube, so that when the person consumes matter by mouth, the matter flows out the stoma, through the ostomy pouch, the interconnecting tube and the PEG rube, and into the stomach.
