Abstract

A release film for producing a green sheet of the present invention includes a base material having a first surface and a second surface, a release agent layer formed by applying a material containing an active energy ray curable compound (a1) and a polyorganosiloxane (b1) onto a side of the first surface of the base material and curing the material, and a back coat layer formed by applying a material containing an active energy ray curable compound (a2) onto a side of the second surface of the base material and curing the material. An arithmetic average roughness Ra₂ of an outer surface of the release agent layer is 8 nm or less and a maximum projection height Rp₂ of the outer surface is 50 nm or lower. An arithmetic average roughness Ra₃ of an outer surface of the back coat layer is in the range of 5 to 40 nm and a maximum projection height Rp₃ of the outer surface of the back coat layer is in the range of 60 to 500 nm. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent pinholes and variation in partial thickness from occurring to the green sheet.
