Provided is a display cover glass having high shape accuracy. A forming step is performed in a state where a portion of a flat glass sheet (50) corresponding to a bent portion (12a) of the cover glass (1) is at a viscosity enabling plastic deformation and elastic deformation to occur therein when an end portion of the flat glass sheet (50) is deformed.
