Abstract
The present invention provides a method for mass production of silicotitanate at low costs using SiO2; and a cesium adsorbent containing silicotitanate in which Na+ is substituted with H+ by acid treatment of Na-silicotitanate. The cesium adsorbent according to the present invention may be used in a filter for purification of air and water, and also as an agent for restoring soil, atmosphere and ocean contaminated with nuclide materials.
