Abstract

Use for preparing labels for “roll-fed” applications of a heat shrinkable uniaxial multilayer film, formed of at least three layers, wherein the core comprises a component a) selected from a1) isotactic crystalline polypropylene and/or a2) a crystalline copolymer of propylene with ethylene, and component b) selected from b1) amorphous atactic polypropylene and/or b2) an amorphous propylene-ethylene copolymer with at least one alpha-olefin having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms wherein, as % by weight with respect to the total amount of monomers, 1a; the total amount of additive component b), in parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of component a) being comprised between 3 and 12, the external skin layers comprise a copolymer of propylene with ethylene and at least one C₄-C₁₂ alpha-olefin, the film being obtained by simultaneous biaxial stretching by means of linear synchronous motors.
