Provided are a method that can manufacture a glass plate having a curved shape by a simple process and with high surface accuracy, a glass plate manufactured by the method, and an apparatus for manufacturing a glass plate having a curved shape. A method for manufacturing a glass plate having a curved shape includes the steps of: preparing an original glass plate (10); elastically deforming the original glass plate (10); and heating the original glass plate (10) being elastically deformed to plastically deform the original glass plate (10) and thus give the original glass plate (10) the curved shape.
