A method for manufacturing of laminated electrochromic devices in a flexible and easy manner comprises provision (210) of a solid-electrochromic-layer layered polymer-based structure. The solid-electrochromic-layer layered polymer-based structure is positioned (240) between a first glass pane and a second glass pane, with a respective interlayer film between each side of the solid-electrochromic-layer layered polymer-based structure and the first glass pane and the second glass pane, respectively, forming a stack. The stack is exposed (250) to a lamination temperature, which is at most 120° C., for a hot lamination time period. The stack is cooled-down (252) at at least atmospheric pressure after the hot lamination time period. Laminated electrochromic devices produced by such a method are also disclosed.
