A doctor device includes blade devices (19) supported on holder devices (23). The holder devices (23) are for arranging the blade devices (19) in a fiber web machine to be placed in connection with a doctor blade (18) equipped with a blade holder (38). The blade devices (19) are supported aligned in a circumferential direction with edge areas (20) of the doctor blade (18). The holder devices (23) are arranged to be fastened in connection with the blade holder (38) so that the blade devices (19) extend further out than the doctor blade (18) to reduce the wear of the doctor blade (18).
