Abstract
A system for dispensing a flowable material from a cartridge body includes a housing for receiving the cartridge body. A nozzle, which is attachable to or integral with a dispensing end of the cartridge body, includes an outer surface and an inner surface, which defines a passageway for the flowable material. A flow control block is attachable to the housing and includes an inner surface defining in inlet passage and an outlet passage. The inlet passage is sized to receive at least a portion of the nozzle therein. The inner surface of the flow control block is configured to mate with the outer surface of the nozzle in a sealing relationship when at least a portion of the nozzle is disposed within the inlet passage.
