Abstract
A method for assisting in loan brokering using transaction data includes: storing a plurality of account profiles, wherein each account profile includes data related to a transaction account including at least an account identifier and transaction data corresponding to a plurality of payment transactions involving the related transaction account; receiving a loan request from an entity, wherein the loan request includes a specific account identifier associated with the entity and one or more requested terms; receiving a data request from a loan provider; identifying a specific account profile stored in the account database where the included account identifier corresponds to the specific account identifier; and transmitting at least the one or more requested terms included in the received loan request and the transaction data included in the identified specific account profile to the loan provider in response to the received data request.
