Abstract
A folding module (13) intended for a machine (1) for producing mailing covers, comprising two counter-rotating folding rollers (18a, 18b) defining a zone (ZR) for receiving at least one envelope document, an entry zone (20) and an exit zone (ZS) from which the envelope document, folded according to a predefined folding line, exits. A pushing mechanism (22) is movable in translation perpendicularly to receiving zone (ZR) between a passive position and an active position in which the pushing mechanism (22) moves the envelope document from the receiving zone (ZR) into the entry zone (20). A pushing roller (22′), mounted free in rotation at the end of the pushing mechanism (22), accompanies, in the active position, the envelope document (4) without sliding until the envelope document enters into contact with one of folding rollers (18a, 18b) thus ensuring high folding accuracy.
