Abstract
Systems, devices, and method for performing pulmonary artery denervation are disclosed. An ablation device is positioned in a pulmonary artery trunk of a patient. Target tissue is ablated in the pulmonary artery trunk under conditions effective to affect a reduction in mean pulmonary artery pressure and systolic pulmonary artery pressure. The target tissue includes at least one of the distal portion of the main pulmonary artery, the proximal portion of the left pulmonary artery, or the proximal portion of the right pulmonary artery.
