Abstract
An extended umbrella providing a secondary canopy coverage area for a pet. The secondary canopy coverage area is supported by a secondary structure attached to a main umbrella shaft with a clamp. Alternatively, the secondary canopy coverage area is provided with no secondary shaft attached to the main umbrella shaft, with the extended canopy connected to a main umbrella by interlocking the ribs with the extension canopy. The secondary coverage area alternatively is formed by an extended umbrella forming a canopy that is continuous and supported with two sections of ribs that snap or hinge in place.
