Abstract

A tire is provided with an internal layer, said internal layer comprising a rubber composition based on at least one diene elastomer, a zinc diacrylate derivative in the form of a zinc salt wherein R₁, R₂ and R₃ independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C₁-C₇ hydrocarbon group selected from linear, branched or cyclic alkyl groups, aralkyl groups, alkylaryl groups and aryl groups and optionally interrupted by one or more heteroatoms, it being possible for R₂ and R₃ to together form a nonaromatic ring, said composition additionally comprising a peroxide. The contents of zinc diacrylate derivative and of peroxide are such that the ratio of the content of peroxide to the content of zinc diacrylate derivative is less than or equal to 0.09, said composition not comprising a reinforcing filler or comprising less than 65 phr thereof, the ratio of the content of filler to the content of zinc diacrylate derivative being less than or equal to 4.
