Abstract
Disclosed herein are a selective breeding method of an antitumor/anticancer Camellia sinensis strain and a tea product produced from such strain. Also disclosed herein are a pharmaceutical composition and a supplement, each of which includes the tea product. The selective breeding method includes: conducting a hybridization process so as to obtain progenies of Camellia sinensis; subjecting the progenies of Camellia sinensis to determination of bioactive ingredient contents; and selecting, from the progenies of Camellia sinensis, an antitumor/anticancer Camellia sinensis strain which meets five standards of bioactive ingredients.
