Abstract

The present disclosure relates to processes for preparing a skincare product, the process comprising drying a black soldier fly to produce a dried black solder fly; extracting the dried black soldier to produce an oil extract or a fat extract of the black soldier fly; separating the oil extract or the fat extract of the black soldier fly from the mixture to produce a separated oil extract or fat extract of the black soldier fly; sterilizing the separated oil extract or fat extract of the black soldier fly to produce a sterilized oil extract or fat extract of the black soldier fly; and mixing the sterilized oil extract or fat extract of the black soldier fly with additional ingredients to form the skincare product, wherein the pharmaceutical product contains the sterilized oil extract or fat extract of the black solder fly.
