Disclosed herein are laminate structures comprising a light guide plate including a first glass sheet, wherein the first glass sheet comprises from about 50 mol % to about 90 mol % SiO2, from about 0 mol % to about 15 mol % Al2O3, and about 0 mol % to about 19 mol % RxO, wherein x is 1 and R is chosen from Zn, Mg, Ca, Sr, or Ba, or wherein x is 2 and R is chosen from Li, Na, K, Rb, or Cs, and wherein the concentration of Fe is less than about 50 ppm
