Abstract
The invention consists in an orthopedic seating wedge with ventilation channels. The wedge is manufactured in a CNC machining process from a chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam with density from 40 to 50 kg/m3. The orthopedic wedge, as illustrated on FIG. 1, has a profiled body (6), with a depression in the rear (3) to maintain a straight posture of the user as well as vertical (5) and horizontal (2) ventilation channels allowing skin air access, protrusions (4) to improve blood circulation in the skin tissue, as well an indentation in the tailbone area (1) in order to relieve the lower back and enhance sitting comfort.
