Abstract
A gas meter includes meter body having meter inlet into which a fluid-to-be-measured flows and meter outlet from which the fluid-to-be-measured flows out, and extended section extended from meter outlet to the interior of meter body. The gas meter further includes flow rate measurement unit disposed inside meter body, flow rate measurement unit having measurement flow passage having a straight tubular shape and provided with lead-in port and lead-out port for the fluid-to-be-measured, and shutoff valve disposed in internal passage of extended section. In flow rate measurement unit, lead-in port is airtightly connected to extended section to communicate with internal passage.
