In a case where passivity-based control is applied to a plurality of circuits connected in parallel, a simpler target state is used. A switching power supply system 10 includes: a plurality of switching power supply circuits 100 connected in parallel to a load R; and a controller configured to switch each of the plurality of switching power supply circuits 100, through passivity-based control, by using a sum of currents that flow in the plurality of switching power supply circuits 100.
