The curled bucket having a base configured to be moved along a surface to collect the material. The apparatus also includes a pivot member connecting the handle and the curled bucket. The pivot member allows the angular orientation of the curled bucket relative to the handle to be adjusted as directed by a force being applied to the pivot member by the handle.
