The invention performs an ultra-fast sterilization and disinfection of objects. The device sterilization and disinfecting comprises an inner housing (7), a lid (6), two flat electrodes, clamping means (5), a dielectric layer (3), a chamber (4), a high voltage power supply and a release of electric field impulses, and it is characterized in that the dielectric layer (3) is in a solid form.
