The invention relates to a water treatment unit including a filter disposed downstream of a water inlet, wherein the water inlet is intended to supply the filter with water to be treated, a conduit system disposed downstream of the filter in order to remove treated water that has flowed through the filter in the direction of a water outlet for release of water to a user, and an ozone generator set up to introduce ozone into an ozone supply conduit, wherein the ozone supply conduit opens into the conduit system between the filter and the water outlet.
