Abstract
Embodiments according to the present invention include to a bicycle pedal with a pedal body with a first contact surface and an opposite second contact surface, wherein a plurality of pins is arranged on the first contact surface, and wherein a plurality of pins is arranged on the second contact surface. At least one of the pins comprises a tooth comprising a skew relative to the respective contact surface of the bicycle pedal, wherein the skew of the tooth comprises an angle α of between α=5° and α=45° with respect to a perpendicular to the respective contact surface, on which the pin is mounted.
