Abstract
An air conditioner includes a first metal pipe 26a, 26b, a second metal pipe 19a with a higher electric potential than the first metal pipe, and a first component 12 made of stainless steel and including a first connecting part 12a, 12b and a second connecting part 12c. The first metal pipe 26a, 26b is connected to the first connecting part 12a, 12b of the first component 12 and the second metal pipe 19a is connected to the second connecting part 12c of the first component 12, so that a refrigerant passage is formed from the first metal pipe 26a, 26b to the second metal pipe 19a through the first component 12. The first component 12 is one of a filter a muffler, a decompression device, a refrigerant storage, and a diverter. With this arrangement, the number of components of the air conditioner is reduced.
