Abstract
The invention relates to a capsule for the preparation of a beverage, said capsule comprising a container including at least one side wall having a circular rim, wherein the sidewall and the circular rim are formed by injection molding or thermoforming of at least one formulation comprising:
- (i) at least one polymer P1 chosen from polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA); and(ii) at least one polymer P2 chosen from polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), said polymer P1 having a degree of crystallinity (KC1) greater than or equal to 50%, and said polymer P2 having a degree of crystallinity (KC2) of less than or equal to 30%, preferably less than or equal to 5%.
