An irradiation device (100) includes: a detection section (31) that detects an insect which is an irradiation target; an identification section (32) that identifies position information of the irradiation target; and an irradiation section (1) that, based on the position information, irradiates the irradiation target with shooting laser light (L2) while targeting a specific part of the irradiation target.
