The present invention relates to a packaging article comprising a polymer-based multilayer envelope defining a cavity, and a solid composition based on one or more surfactant(s), said composition being contained in the cavity defined by the envelope. The invention also relates to a process for cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, using such a packaging article, and also to the use of said packaging article for washing and/or conditioning keratin materials, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair.
