Abstract
According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate having a plurality of switching elements, a second substrate disposed to oppose the first substrate, a sealing member disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer containing a polymer and liquid crystal molecules and disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and in a region surrounded by the sealing member, and the polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer has a nematic-isotropic transition temperature higher than a curing temperature of the sealing member.
