Abstract
A method and an apparatus for CO2 negative production of heat and power in combination with hydrogen (CHPH) from carbonaceous raw material using microwaves as a heating source. The invention provides an extremely energy effective and homogenous heating of biochar enabling production of hydrogen in significant amounts. The apparatus comprises several closed vessels and is suitable for H2 production on a small scale and locally.
