An implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) configured to be implanted in the patient is in communication with the first sensor and the second sensor. The ICD includes a generator configured to generate treatment energy and a lead configured to deliver the treatment energy. The generator configured to determine a cardiac status based on data from each of the first sensor and the second sensor, determine, based on the cardiac status, if a health event is occurring, and responsive to determining that the health event is an adverse health event, operate the generator to generate the treatment energy.
